Dr. Hooshmand Mirfakhraei received his BA and MA in political science from the National University of Iran and his Ph.D. in international relations from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Mirfakhraei was a researcher in the Office of Political and International Studies, affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has been a reporter for the Persian section of Voice of America Since 2006.
