Mona Tajali: Effects, Obstacles, and Transformations of “Woman, Life, Freedom”

On July 28, 2023, the Iran 1400 Project interviewed Dr. Mona Tajali about the effects, obstacles, goals, and potential transformations of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement. Dr. Tajali stressed the movement’s pivotal role in uniting Iranians from diverse backgrounds as they work for transformational change that brings about freedom and equality She highlighted the fact that while there is a widespread demand for greater democracy from the public, Iranian institutions have thus far fallen short in delivering it. Additionally, she drew attention to the work being done on the Iran Women’s Bill of Rights (iwbr.org) and explained its mission.
