This is a two-part conversation between our host Sydney Martin and doctoral student Ida Nikou about the labor movement in Iran since the Islamic revolution. Ida Nikou is a Ph.D. candidate in sociology at Stony Brook University. Their dissertation focuses on the labor movement in Iran and their broader interest is in political economy, social movements, and the Middle East region.
