Kyle Olson specializes in the intersection of geopolitics and archaeology in Iran. His scholarship focuses on both the ancient world and the recent past. He is currently a Lecturer in Archaeology at Washington University in St. Louis in the Department of Anthropology and the term chair for the Archaeology of Iran sessions at the American Schools of Overseas Research annual meeting.
